My Whole Life

I was born to reflect the image of a God who is powerful enough to create my universe, attentive enough to hear my prayers and loving enough to be defined by self-sacrifice. I find my greatest fulfillment on a journey toward purpose and wholeness.

Decisiveness

God doesn't like fence sitting, especially in spiritual matters. It's in the Bible, Revelation 3:15-16, TLB. "I know you well—you are neither hot nor cold; I wish you were one or the other! But since you are merely lukewarm, I will spit you out of My mouth!"

Be firm in your commitments. It's in the Bible, Isaiah 50:7, TLB. "Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame."

Do not be distracted by side issues. It's in the Bible, Jeremiah 32:38-39, TLB. "They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear Me for their own good and the good of their children after them."

Make up your mind about serving the Lord. It's in the Bible, Joshua 24:15, TLB. "But if you are unwilling to obey the Lord, then decide today whom you will obey. Will it be the gods of your ancestors beyond the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites here in this land? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord."
